This young athlete boasts substantial online presence
The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates numerous international courses and often matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.
"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.
But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."
She'll challenge several top competitors in the sport at this tournament, including world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, especially with the next generation.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
