Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a luggage theft where a suspected capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and charges for using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.
The charges follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.
A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.
The incident – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
